Good Alternative to Traditional Orthodontist

I wanted to straighten my teeth, but over $5K was just not feasible; I checked out a lot of places and settled on SmileSet. I liked that it was relatively easy to do. I had a call with Customer Service to confirm that I was a candidate (I have existing bridge work) and they were friendly and helpful. I like that an actual dentist oversees your treatment plan. What I did not like it how long it took to actually get my aligners once I returned the impression kit (started process in late August; received aligners early October). I hated that I was getting so many texts at the beginning my order, and virtually no communication that my order had been shipped. Getting necessary supplies thru SmileSet is spendy (i.e., aligner cleaning tablets, ultrasonic cleaner, removal hook tool). I went to Amazon and got all these supplies for a fraction of the cost. I am just starting to use the aligners. They are not as comfortable as I had hoped; they are not perfectly laser cut around the teeth/gum line. I have had to file them down several times and it still isn't quite right. I am hopeful that I will get better at this. A good alternative, but not perfect. All the being said, they do fit well over my teeth; I can feel pressure but it's not painful, I can already feel my teeth repositioning - that is the goal, so overall I am cautiously optimistic about the desired outcome.

Impressions not done, but reduced price!

I haven’t done the impressions yet, but I saw a better price online and Dave from SmileSet was super helpful in getting me that cheaper price super easily!

Sara (Sarah?) knew what I needed and what I DIDN’T need. Personable and professional — just what you’d want as a client AND as an employee or freelance rep. Win win for everyone.

Exceptional customer service!

I haven’t received my SmileSet kit yet, but I already have to commend the customer service I’ve experienced so far! I had received a promotional discount code that unfortunately landed in my junk folder, so I didn’t see it until after I had already placed my order. I reached out to customer support, and without hesitation, they honored the discount and made the entire process completely seamless. I couldn’t have been happier with how they handled it. I’m really looking forward to gifting my wife her SmileSet, and I hope the rest of the experience is just as wonderful as the customer service has been so far!
