FAQs

Care Information

• How often should I replace my retainers?

Your doctor recommends that you replace your retainers at least every 6 months since retainers stretch and shift over time which will allow your teeth to eventually move. It is also recommended for hygienic purposes. To make this easy, we've built a convenient subscription option with extra discounts to make it both cheaper and easier to stay on track with consistent retainer replacements!

• How do I clean my retainers?

Keeping your SmileSet retainers clean is essential for their longevity and your oral health. Rinse your retainers under lukewarm water after each use to remove saliva or food particles. Use a soft-bristled toothbrush and non-abrasive soap or toothpaste to gently clean them. For a deeper clean, we recommend using our SmileSet Premium Universal Cleaning Tablets as directed.

• Do you offer products to make cleaning easier?

Yes, maintaining your retainers is straightforward with our specialized products. Explore our SmileSet Premium Universal Cleaning Tablets (90pc) and our SmileSet Premium Ultrasonic Cleaner with UV Sanitizer designed to keep your retainers pristine and hygienic.

Shipping

• Is shipping free for all orders?

Absolutely! We cover all shipping costs for your retainers. If you need to return your retainers, please note that return shipping costs are your responsibility.

• What happens if I need to change my shipping address?

You can update your shipping address anytime before we dispatch your retainers. Once shipped, the address cannot be changed, but our team will assist you in ensuring you receive your order promptly.

Returns

• What is your return policy?

We offer a 30-Day Smile Guarantee for retainers. If you’re not satisfied within 30 days of receiving your retainers, you can return them for a full refund. Please ensure all components are included in the return.

• What if my retainers don’t fit properly?

If your retainers don’t fit as expected, don’t worry. Contact us, and we will address the issue. Depending on the situation, we may send a new impression kit or adjust your existing retainers. If you previously finished our Express Aligner Treatment, the SmileSet Protection Plan supports you throughout your post-treatment phase.

• What is the SmileSet Protection Plan?

For those who finished Express Aligner Treatment, the SmileSet Protection Plan includes one complimentary adjustment during your treatment to address any unforeseen shifts in your teeth’s alignment. After treatment, you’re eligible for discounted touch-ups to ensure your smile stays as perfect as you envisioned.
